The retreat was awesome. There was lots to do and learn like paddleboarding and yoga workshops. When I arrived home I was like a kid who had just come from summer camp, full of we did this and that, we ate this and that, and I made new friends. I can’t wait to do it again! My husband just smiled and let me go on and on. I would recommend it to everyone, even the beginners.

In the evenings, we gather in the yoga studio for Sweet Dreams Yoga—a soothing blend of calming music and gentle stretches. This class leaves you with a deep sense of relaxation, as your body is lengthened from head to toe, preparing you for a wonderful night’s sleep.

I participated in the retreat during my second trimester of pregnancy, and Amy ensured that I could easily and enjoyably participate in all the yoga classes. The morning yoga on the dock was especially beautiful. It was all around an amazing experience!

The Northern Edge Retreat was more than I expected. The location was so relaxing and beautiful. It gave the feeling of being away from the world but connected to nature. I met many wonderful women and shared some special moments with them. Amy planned an amazing retreat.

There are four different accommodation options and a limited number of each. They are simple yet comfortable, furnished with cozy bedding, and perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep after a day of adventure! You will notice the main difference is private vs shared toilets and showers. Please read the differences carefully before deciding which is best for you!
Prices range from $1585-$2265 (+13% hst) depending on your choice of accommodation and if you opt for shared or private. This pricing is all-inclusive, covering 4 nights of accommodations, all meals, yoga sessions, and additional activities.

In June I attended my first “Be Well with Amy” Yoga retreat at Northern Edge Algonquin and it exceeded my expectations! It was like being welcomed back home after a long absence from the moment we arrived. The whole weekend went off without a hitch and it was relaxing and very enjoyable. The resort staff and facility are amazing…and Amy is the perfect host and made you feel at home and relaxed. A great way to reset before getting back to the hustle and bustle of real life. The retreat was amazing! Amy put a lot of thought and planning into making sure that the retreat was enjoyable for everyone, and it showed! The location was awesome, everything I hoped for, and the food at the Edge exceeded my expectations! The yoga sessions were well spaced throughout the day with good variety and Amy ensured that she explained all variations for anyone needing them. The pace of the retreat and variety of activities were perfect! Amy and the co-facilitator Sarah worked very well together and used a fluid, go-with-the-flow style schedule with input from participants that ensured the best experience for all! I would highly recommend attending a yoga retreat with Amy!
