Imagine making yoga and fitness a regular part of your life with personalized support, all without ever stepping foot in a studio.

When I first started teaching online, something amazing happened. Women who had NEVER done group classes started joining in, simply because it was an easy and accessible way to try it out.

They still received a personal touch that is welcome when trying something new but they were able to experience it comfortably from home.

Does this sound like you? You’ve held back from yoga and fitness classes because:
  • you’re concerned you won’t be able to keep up
  • you worry others in the class will judge you
  • you’re uncomfortable with the idea of exercising in an unfamiliar place surrounded by strangers
  • even managing daily tasks (like the never ending pile of laundry!) is a battle, so adding a trip to the gym feels overwhelming

If you were nodding your head as you read the above, I completely understand. I held a lot of those concerns myself when I just started out.

As an introverted overthinker with both a full-time and a part-time job, looking back, I’m amazed I found the courage—and the time—to step into a studio at all.

Now that I’m an instructor, seeing the positive impact online classes have had on my current members has inspired me. I’m motivated to connect with more women like them—those interested in trying yoga and fitness with direct instructor guidance, but who also value the convenience and approachability of an online setting.

The Perfect Starting Place

That’s why I created Get Movinga 3-Month Program for Building Lasting Exercise Habits, designed to bring together a community of women in the same boat. Together you will take steps towards making movement a fulfilling part of your lives by enjoying beginner-friendly classes in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

All from the comfort of your home!

By the end, you will have the confidence to move forward on your fitness journey and continue to gain strength, stamina, stability, and flexibility.

Testimonials

I am so happy to be doing yoga online with Amy.  When a friend asked if I would be interested, I thought, being a bit of an introvert, this would be a great way to do yoga.  In the comfort of my own home!  The sessions are filled with a sense of calm.

I have RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I feel the stretching we do in class has helped with some of the tightness in my joints.  My balance has also improved.  I love the variety of her classes and feel refreshed and renewed when we are finished.  It is a wonderful self care tool.

Lynda H

What I appreciated most about the course with Amy was the attentiveness and accommodations for experience and individual body mechanics. Our course attendees had varying degrees of strength, stability, and overall experience with Yoga poses. Amy was able to navigate this with ease and use each individual’s needs as valuable teaching moments that everyone benefited from. The materials provided after each class were wonderful. I would 100% take more virtual courses with Amy – thank you!!!

Nicole R

Amy is an excellent instructor, giving detailed explanations of how each exercise is designed to help build flexibility, balance, and muscle strength and reminding us of how to breathe.  She also gives options for how to increase or reduce the difficulty of the exercise so that participants can choose the level that best suits them.

I have less lower back pain and more overall flexibility in my movements since having begun and stuck with Amy’s classes. I truly enjoy and benefit from attending her programs.

How The Get Moving Program Works

3 Months of Movement and Support

Initial 1-on-1 Session

To ensure I meet your needs throughout the program you will schedule a private session with me. We’ll discuss your goals, past experiences with yoga and fitness, and any areas of concern (such as stiff hips or lower back pain).

Six Group Sessions

In these sessions, we will get together to enjoy 45 minutes of movement together as a community. This time, you’ll have the opportunity to join with both sound and video, allowing us to chat and connect before and after class. (It’s one of the best parts and a fun motivator to help you stay committed!)

    1. Upbeat Tone: Beginner-friendly Strength and Stamina fitness class.
    2. Yoga Strength and Stability: Beginner-friendly yoga class.

Replays Available: If you miss a session or want to do it again you’ll be able to watch the replay!

3 Months of On-Demand Videos

You’ll enjoy access to a comprehensive video library to support your movement journey. Beginning with replays of the Challenge sessions and 10-minute Quick Stretches, additional videos will be continuously added. This ensures you have everything you need to create a sustainable movement routine and stay motivated and engaged along the way.

FAQs About The Course

Will you see and hear me in the live sessions?

Yes, we’ll start each class with a chance to say hello and check in with everyone! During the class, I’ll mute everyone and record the session. You’ll still be visible to me so I can offer adjustments when needed, but you won’t appear in the recording. After class, you’ll unmute to ask any questions and say goodbye until our next session! 🙂

What if I miss a group class?

Not to worry! Each session will be recorded, and it will be available to you shortly after the scheduled time. If you have any questions about that week’s class, you can submit them by email.

What equipment will I need?

  • A computer or tablet (Using your phone is not recommended as the screen will be challenging to see from a distance).
  • A yoga mat (If you don’t have one and want to test the waters first, just let me know, and I will provide alternative options).
  • Some exercises use 1-2 pound hand weights but can be substituted with soup cans or bottled water
  • Some exercises use a flat resistance band, but can either be substituted with a belt/tie/scarf or hand weights
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in!

I’m not very tech-savvy, will I be able to do this course?

Absolutely! This course is designed to be user-friendly, and I offer plenty of guidance to ease any concerns.
