Introduction

This class is a great way to get your heart pumping and build your stamina!  I give options for each exercise so no matter your level, you can have a safe and effective work out.

We start each class with a warm up, then complete 5 rounds of exercise.  In each round we do 8 sets of 20 seconds activity, followed by 10 seconds of rest.  We rest for 1 minute in between each round.

This can sound intimidating or confusing at first (maybe both!), but once you get started you’ll see how fun and rewarding this class is- not to mention the time just flies by!!

Class Benefits

Part of living a healthy life includes incorporating aerobic exercise (cardio) into your weekly routine.  Increasing your heart rate during exercise comes with many benefits, such as:

  • strengthening your heart and lungs
  • losing weight
  • increasing stamina, reducing fatigue
  • boosting your immune system

Not to mention, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the class!

I like the structure of the class where you do some exercises standing and some on the floor.  This gives you a real chance for overall improvement because it feels like you are getting a break but you are not.  Amy also gives modifications to make the exercises harder so you have something to work towards.  She is so enthusiastic that this class just flies by.
