I was having problems with my hips (left hip mostly). It was giving out, had a lower range of mobility and caused me pain during the night. My chiropractor suggested stretches. Amy’s classes helped greatly. I have much more range of movement in the hip joint now and the “clunking” or “cracking” that used to happen with some of the movements no longer happens. I no longer wake up with pain during the night. Also, cross leg sitting was near impossible for me when I first started Amy’s classes and while I still have some difficulty, it has greatly improved.
Because Amy’s classes are on-demand, I can take any class whenever my schedule allows me to do so. This flexibility has allowed me to fit classes in when I can…this is so much more convenient than trying to catch a scheduled class in town!
I am so happy to be doing yoga online with Amy. When a friend asked if I would be interested, I thought, being a bit of an introvert, this would be a great way to do yoga. In the comfort of my own home! The sessions are filled with a sense of calm. Amy’s soothing voice and the music she has playing helps me to relax and let go.
I have RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I feel the stretching we do in class has helped with some of the tightness in my joints. My balance has also improved. I love the variety of her classes and feel refreshed and renewed when we are finished. It is a wonderful self care tool.
Amy is an amazing teacher who puts 100% into every class. She tailors each class and offers many different options at varying levels in the same class. I love the online classes and the ability to join from my living room! Plus the music is always perfect for the class, and I love her playlists!
Amy is a welcoming and fun teacher. She gives options for all levels in each class so you can get a great workout no matter how experienced you are.
I like that Amy gives choices for different levels of the exercises. She gives detailed instructions and goes slow enough that I can keep up (most times). When I joined during Covid the livestream classes were (and still are) a welcomed social group. The recorded sessions are a nice option if I can’t make it to a livestream class.
Amy is a very well rounded instructor. She is equally good at yoga, aerobic or strength classes. I do low impact and have never felt out of place as there is always alternatives given. That being said Amy is so upbeat that I challenge myself even on the “On Demand” classes because she is so enthusiastic. The biggest gain I have made is my improved flexibility. It is nice having less pain throughout the day.
Amy’s classes are amazing! A friend of mine mentioned she was taking yoga classes and that I should give them a try. I was extremely apprehensive about my commitment to an online fitness class. Amy has hooked me. Her classes are a part of my regular routine. Amy’s guidance, calming voice and expertise are the key factors. All classes are well planned and can be accessed on demand. My two favourite classes are the core build and calming chair yoga which are paired on the same evening. I feel my balance, strength and overall fitness has improved thanks to Amy. Give her classes a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Yoga was never my style. Personal training, kickboxing and spin classes were my thing until the pandemic hit. I had used those classes to maintain a 100 pound weight loss for 10 years, but my maintenance plan didn’t account for all the gyms being closed during the lockdowns. So, I did what many people did in those first few weeks, I stayed home on my couch and took my frustrations out by eating. That’s when I gained 5 pounds then 5 more pounds and then… well you know how it goes. It was like a sign to me when Amy posted that she was starting up some online/on demand classes in yoga. I cringed that it was “yoga” but thought, “Why not… it can’t be worse than sitting on the couch doing nothing and gaining back 100 pounds”. So, I signed up before I could talk myself out of it.
I started out with some relaxation classes just to get the hang of the poses, but I quickly found I not only enjoyed her classes, but I slept better and seemed to handle the day-to-day stress better. So, I joined in for more classes. I learned that Amy is able to teach her classes to all levels and abilities. She offered a free one-on-one class/assessment for new clients and was able to correct my form for certain poses and answer any questions or concerns. Each person is able to work to their own ability and strengths. So, once I committed to her classes I was able to regain my focus on my exercise/diet plan and within a few months I was able to lose 26 of the 30 pounds I had gained.
I found Amy has a very soothing voice and excellent knowledge of how to help anyone reach their goals. Her cardio and strengthening classes are a great workout along with her HIIT class (High intensity interval training) which is geared to anyone that wants a quick but intense workout guaranteed to make you sweat. Her classes are affordable and, with a busy schedule now that life is getting back to normal, the on-demand classes will benefit anyone and their lifestyle. I have enjoyed her classes so much I will never need to buy another gym membership and now I can say I LOVE YOGA! Thanks, Amy!
I’ve treasured the time I’ve had with Amy, both as an individual coach to me, and as an instructor in her online classes. While I have tried to stick with gym programs before, it’s never really worked out for me. In contrast, Amy’s online format makes it both comfortable and convenient to attend, while also providing that ‘personal touch’ that she so easily provides.
Amy is an excellent instructor, giving detailed explanations of how each exercise is designed to help to build flexibility, balance and muscle strength and reminding us of how to breathe. She also gives options for how to increase or reduce the difficulty of the exercise so that participants can choose the level that best suits them. Amy sets a good pace of activity during each class and varies the exercises to add new interest and challenge while also sticking with the basics that are good to master. I have less lower back pain and more overall flexibility in my movements since having begun and stuck with Amy’s classes. I truly enjoy and benefit from attending her programs.
